ALL THINGS OCEAN. Created as a birthday lei for a young lady studying Oceanography at U.H. Hilo. The inspiration was her mother's words: "She loves all things 'ocean.' "
ARLENE'S LEI. Arlene saw a picture of the All Things Ocean and wanted a lei like it, only for her graduation from U.H. Manoa. Her studies were in Reproductive Developmental Biology so the challenge here was to find images Arlene suggested: test tubes, petri dishes, lab mice, microscopes, etc.
Special graduation lei for students graduating in 2011 who participated in Autism Speaks programs to promote awareness and fundraising efforts for the world's largest organization of its type. www.autismspeaks.org.
